As the backbone for storage and distribution in the San Francisco Bay Area, the East Bay industrial market will continue to improve through the end of this year and into 2022, reported Marcus & Millichap.
Tech employees and companies in the Bay Area are heavy users of delivery services, which should generate demand for warehouse and distribution space that has been absent for nearly two years. Firms that operate in these industries will help absorb some of the speculative space that comes online in the second half of this year.
