Marek Handzel has been editor of Institutional Real Estate Europe since December 2017. Marek began working as a B2B journalist in 2005 and has edited various publications within the financial services, insurance and legal sectors in the UK. He has been the managing editor of Pension Funds Online, where he launched Pension Funds Insider as well as the editor of Pensions Age and Claims Media. He has also written extensively on pensions management and institutional investment for other titles such as European Pensions, Project M and Financial News.
Marek has lived and worked in Warsaw, Poland, as well as in London. He is now based in Harrogate in England and has an honours degree in History from the University of Exeter.
