Lester Lockwood

Lester Lockwood has over 50 years’ experience in the pension investment management business.

Les joined Prudential Financial, Inc. in June, 1970, ironically starting on same date as PRISA, Prudential’s flagship core open end real estate fund.  During his initial 17 years with Prudential,  Les was actively involved in many aspects of pension benefit administration, institutional asset management and client service across all asset classes.

Since 1987, Les served as an integral part of Prudential’s client service and marketing team dedicated exclusively to the firm’s real estate investment management business.  His experience over his 30+ years with PGIM Real Estate included capital raising and managing relationships with many of the firm’s key clients, directing the global business development effort and serving as a member of the Global Management Committee.  Les retired from Prudential in July, 2017.

Les has a bachelor’s degree from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and attended Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development.
