Elise Mackanych is associate editor with Institutional Real Estate, Inc., where she is responsible for editing the Real Assets Adviser newsline, and contributing features across the company's publications. Prior to joining IREI, she was a site coordinator and art program coordinator at the Community Youth Center of San Francisco. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
