VIP Americas 2020 promises a year of foresight

If we are to invoke such a cliche, hindsight is 2020. By that same token, this year, 2020, is also foreordained to be the year of not only insight but also foresight. Such a theme was woven in this year’s Visions, Insights & Perspectives (VIP) Americas conference, held in Dana Point, Calif., in January.

Experts spanning the real estate spectrum delved into discussions on everything from the future of core real estate and U.S. retail and logistics trends, to social mobility and closing the opportunity gap. Specifically, speakers focused on how these topics can be leveraged for the future.

The first full day of the conference had a keynote address by leadership and communication expert Susan Cain, co-founder of Quiet Revolution and the bestselling author of Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking.
