New technologies are poised to disrupt the pendulum-swinging cycle between CBD and suburban properties.

Brandon Huffman, portfolio manager with Rubenstein Properties, points to the impact self-driving cars would have on the market.

“We believe it’s just a matter of time before the driverless car fully takes hold,” says Huffman. “There’s just too much efficiency to be gained, and much of the technology is already there. Tremendous resources are being applied to push that technology forward.”
