Small country, big dreams: Korean investors look overseas for sizeable investments

In March, I attended the ANREV Korea Conference 2014 that was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul. This was the second annual event organised by ANREV. This conference was conceived and produced to help Korean investors, active in overseas real estate markets, better understand the investment environment and give them a chance to meet with foreign asset managers that could provide them with investment opportunities in overseas property markets.

ANREV’s inaugural South Korea event in 2013 attracted in excess of 250 attendees, and this year it was just slightly smaller. However, the event this year attracted top Korean investors and the global and local asset managers who serve them.
