Group meetings continue to be off the table, given the ongoing pandemic, but the industry continues to find new ways to connect and collaborate. The LP-GP 4x4 Virtual Roundtables for the editorial board members of Institutional Real Estate Americas continue to be a way for the industry to dialogue about the issues and concerns that are front and center.

Since launching the video roundtable series in the early days of the pandemic, we have held 33 such virtual gatherings with 93 representatives of industry sponsor firms and 100 institutional limited partners and their consultants.

Over the course of the pandemic, some of the issues and concerns have changed. In the early days, the biggest issues were understanding immediate impacts on existing portfolios and wondering how to make commitments without in-person meetings.
