Slowly but surely, we seem to be emerging from the coronavirus crisis. New cases and deaths from COVID-19 are on a steady and encouraging downward trend across Europe.
Kids are going back to school, bars and restaurants are opening and sports events are back up and running.
Nevertheless, things are not quite how they were prior to the lockdown. Some countries, such as Ireland and Italy, have not sent their children back into the classroom at all. Many employees continue to work from home. Football teams are playing in empty stadiums. Shoppers and diners remain far apart from each other when out and about, and there are more people wearing masks than ever before.
