Probably the best redevelopment in the world
CapMan Real Estate has acquired a former Carlsberg warehouse in Copenhagen for its Nordic Real Estate II fund. With the help of REVCO Asset Management, the 19th century property will be redeveloped into 6,000 square metres of flexible office space and topped off with a 400-square-metre roof terrace. The building is situated in the Carlsberg City District, which was created after the company moved its plant out of the city in 2008 and ended a 160-year period of beer production in the Danish capital. Carlsberg has not completely vacated the area, however. The CapMan asset will soon neighbour the brewer’s new main headquarters, due to be completed in 2020.
