The National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries serves the commercial real estate investment community by providing data and analytical tools to measure performance, bringing multiple disciplines together at working meetings to expand and enhance industry information, and supporting continued education and academic research. It was through NCREIF’s role of bringing the community together that a new tool emerged for investors to gauge relative performance.
