Managers react to investor demand for new funds

Several funds were launched in October.

Coima SGR launched its second fund with a €500 million equity fundraising target. Coima Opportunity Fund II will focus on development and retrofitting projects in Italy.

CapMan Real Estate also launched its second fund, CapMan Nordic Real Estate Fund II. The second fund will follow a similar strategy to its predecessor, investing in office, retail and residential properties in major Nordic cities.

With its partner Corestate Capital Holding SA, German pension fund Bayerische Versorgungskammer launched the special fund BVK-Residential Europe-Immobilienfonds Corestate with a target volume of approximately €500 million. The special fund will primarily invest in micro apartments, especially student housing properties, in European university towns, with a focus on Germany and Austria.
