London named world leading global business hub

London has been named the number one destination for business collaboration and innovation by senior business leaders.

A survey of 459 senior business leaders from large companies in global central business districts, conducted on behalf of the City of London Corporation and the City Property Association, has found that London is regarded as a frontrunner in innovation and an ideal location to recruit and retain talent. 37 percent of respondents said that London is the best location for global teams, placing the capital ahead of New York (26 percent), Paris (20 percent) and Singapore (17 percent). Half of the companies surveyed named collaboration within business teams as the most important factor in driving innovation, with 94 percent of respondents scoring London positively in this regard and 54 percent describing the UK capital’s offering as “world leading”.
