Read your article on real estate education (“Back to School” by Larry Gray in the October 2019 issue), and would like to update you on what we are doing at the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Canada. Two things set our program apart from what you describe in the U.S. The first dates back a decade ago, when we realized that real estate and infrastructure had more in common than differences that exist. We combined infrastructure with real estate in the curriculum, seeing the need within industry and the connection to the growth of cities globally and the sustainability challenges.
