Large deals show continuing interest in student housing

The number of students in European countries keeps rising and so do their demands for better student accommodation. Growth and rising demand against limited supply are always factors that will interest investors, and a number of countries have recently seen increased levels of investor and developer activity in domestic student accommodation markets. A report from Cushman & Wakefield on the UK student accommodation market, which features not only large numbers of UK students but also continuing high numbers of foreign students from outside the European Union, highlights the effect of greater student demand for better accommodation.
