One real estate story of the summer was the sale of the house that served as the establishing exterior for the iconic 1970s television series The Brady Bunch. Many of us of a certain age can sing the infamous theme song that continues to rattle around our heads. For lack of anything else, good, bad and downright awful television shows from that era somehow stand the test of time, and The Brady Bunch falls into one of these categories, depending on who you are.

But this is a real estate publication, so let’s take a look at the real estate story. The house is located at 11222 Dilling St. in the Studio City area of Los Angeles. Originally built in 1959 and purchased as a home in 1973 by Violet and George McCallister for $61,000, the three-bedroom, 2,500-square-foot structure sits on 0.29 acres.
