Henderson Proposes Birmingham Redevelopment
Henderson Global Investors has submitted a planning application to redevelop 1 Hagley Road, a 19-storey, 13,000-square-metre office tower in Birmingham. Henderson has proposed transforming the site into a modern apartment block of up to 182 units, including four penthouse floors at the top. In addition, Henderson has proposed redeveloping the property’s extensive car parking area into a new building of up to 14 storeys, which could provide hotel or student accommodation space.
