For people like you: Global real estate investment strategy from a decidedly European perspective

It’s been a while since we’ve explained what this publication is all about, so I thought that I’d devote this month’s column to that end.

We first started publishing Institutional Real Estate Europe in 2007 to help fill what we saw as a gap in the market — a publication that truly was designed to serve the information needs of European institutional investors who were investing in Europe as well as elsewhere around the globe.

Like its sister publications covering the Americas and Asia Pacific, the editorial content and direction for the publication is set by an advisory board comprised of a mixture of small to mid-size to large European financial institutions — pension funds, insurance companies, family offices and sovereign wealth funds, among others. Joining these investors on the board are a smattering of real estate consultants, and the handful of investment management firms that sponsor the publication.
