Artificial intelligence (AI) and related property technologies have already influenced much in the world of institutional real estate management and investing, but a lot more disruptions — or advances — are still pending, say experts.
While many institutional investors use multiple technologies across different functions, they “lack a centralised platform to integrate and manage these technologies and the data extracted with these technologies through a single interface,” says Alexander Bent, co-founder and managing partner with the Hong Kong–based Undivided Ventures. “This fragmentation often leads to internal frustration, low engagement and ultimately distrust in technology — creating inertia in adoption.”
