ESG Means Business, Spring 2021 is a special report published by Institutional Real Estate, Inc. in cooperation with GRESB, and is a follow-up to ESG Means Business, Winter 2020, a special report published last January. This free, 24-page report focuses on ESG performance and impact metrics.
Environmental, social and governance (ESG) platforms took another major leap forward in 2020. Participation in the GRESB Real Estate Assessment grew 22 percent, now covering 1,229 portfolios worth more than US$4.8 trillion in assets under management. With that growth has come steady evolution in ESG performance and impact (EPI) metrics, and industry leaders are continuing to leverage increasingly sophisticated methods to measure, track and improve performance and drive value for stakeholders.
