Zach Buchwald leaves BlackRock, joins Russell Investments as CEO
Zach Buchwald has left BlackRock to take up the position of CEO and chairman of the board of directors at Russell Investments, a global investment solutions firm providing a wide range of investment capabilities to institutional investors.
Based in the firm’s global headquarters in Seattle, Buchwald will step into the leadership role on May 1 as Russell Investments’ eighth CEO in 87 years. He succeeds Michelle Seitz, who departed the firm in late 2022 after serving for five years.
