The Yale University Endowment posted a net 1.8 percent return ($759 million) for the fiscal year that ended on June 30.
Despite the yield on investments, the endowment value decreased from $41.4 billion to $40.7 billion during the fiscal year, due to the University’s operating budget.
Over both the past 10- and 20-year time periods, Yale’s endowment has generated net annualized returns of 10.9 percent.
