WSIB to invest up to $200m into water and agriculture

The $106.8 billion Washington State Investment Board has committed up to $100 million each to Resonance Asset Management’s Industrial Water Infrastructure Fund and Homestead Capital’s USA Farmland Fund II.Final action is pending and will take place at WSIB’s next meeting scheduled for Sept. 15.

Resonance invests in infrastructure on an international basis and plans to invest equally in Europe and Asia. The Industrial Water Infrastructure Fund will focus on treatment infrastructure and water recycling. Homestead Capital’s USA Farmland Fund II will focus on agricultural crops in the Mountain West, Pacific, Midwest and Delta regions of the United States.
