Worldwide Hotels buys hotel in Bangkok

Worldwide Hotels (WWH) has purchased Oakwood Studios Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel, a newly built 177-key hotel.

The seller was Boutique Corporation. The financial terms were not disclosed. JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group’s Asia Pacific and Thailand teams advised on the sale.

This is the fourth hotel that WWH has acquired via JLL after the acquisitions of Travelodge Bangkok, Travelodge Pattaya in Thailand and Travelodge Dongdaemun in Seoul.

The Oakwood Studios Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel offers a restaurant, swimming pool and fitness center. It is being offered with 100 percent foreign freehold ownership via the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) promotion.
