Woon Pin Chong joins Franklin Templeton as managing director

Franklin Templeton Investments has appointed Woon Pin Chong as managing director, Franklin Real Asset Advisors, responsible for the Asia Pacific region.

Chong will lead FRAA’s Asia Pacific investment team in research, analysis and transactions of private real estate investment opportunities in the region, and define market insights and investment themes. In addition to investment management, he will also be responsible for the business development and marketing of real estate investment products and strategies, with a focus on Asian markets.

Chong was also Asia managing director for Australian investment manager Centuria Capital, where he successfully established and was responsible for their wholesale and institutional real estate investor platform. Prior to that, Chong held senior roles at Lend Lease Investment Management and Colliers International.
