Whitman/Peterson Partners IV, a closed-end fund that will invest in hotel, multifamily and student housing properties throughout the United States, has secured more than $499 million in capital commitments, according to a recent filing with the SEC.
The filing noted 96 investors have backed the fund, although a fundraising target has not been disclosed.
The fund’s predecessor, Fund III, raised $402 million at final close in January 2018, and Fund II raked in half that amount in 2015.
