Wheelock Street Capital has already received $528 million in capital commitments for its sixth real estate investment vehicle, Wheelock Street Real Estate Fund VI, which launched earlier in May.
The fund had 22 investors, as of May 29, according to an SEC Form D.
The previous fund in the series, Wheelock Street Real Estate Fund V, closed in March 2017 with $725 million in capital commitments, reaching its target. The fund invested in individual properties, portfolios and operating companies in the United States.
Wheelock focuses on both public and private market real estate investments throughout North America, including hospitals, residential land, retail, office, multifamily, student housing and mixed-use developments.
