Wharton Industrial buys 101-acre parcel for $200m development

Wharton Industrial has acquired a 101-acre parcel of land in Mesa, Ariz.

The company plans to invest more than $200 million into the site to develop an 11-building, 1.5 million-square foot, class A industrial park, to be known as “The Hub@202”. The buildings will range in size from 65,000 square feet to 270,000 square feet and will feature 28- to 32-foot clear heights, 73 trailer parking spaces, 60-foot speed bays, and 1,429 car parking spaces.

Financing for the project was provided by MSD Capital, the family office of Michael Dell. Construction is set to begin in second quarter 2022.
