The $240 million Westfield (Mass.) Retirement System is seeking proposals from qualified investment managers specializing in open-end and closed-end value-add and opportunistic real estate funds, according to a recently released RFP.
The pension fund said it will consider either private equity real estate investment funds that make direct investments or a fund of funds that is “reasonably diversified.”
The Westfield Retirement System plans to commit between $10 million and $15 million to the selected mandate and said it may invest in more than one manager or fund.
The deadline to submit the proposal is Dec. 31. To get more information about the RFP, click here.
