WCP holds $237m final close for core-plus fund
Westport Capital Partners has held a $236.7 million final close for its WCP Special Core Plus Fund, according to spokeswoman Jennifer Albero. The fund had a $500 million maximum fundraising target, according to IREI’s FundTracker Database.
WCP Special Core Plus Fund, which launched in June 2015, is a closed-end real estate fund that will invest in direct properties in the United States. The fund has a target net return of 8 percent to 12 percent.
WCP Real Estate Fund IV and WCP Real Estate Fund IV (ERISA), additional funds of Westport Capital, held a $314 million final closing at the end of 2015. WCP Real Estate Fund III had a $571 million final close in February 2012.
