Christopher Hanak has stepped into the role of CIO of the Washington State Investment Board (WSIB), an asset management organization responsible for $186 billion in state retirement funds and other public trust accounts.
He succeeds Allyson Tucker, who was promoted from CIO to CEO, effective Jan. 1. Tucker was CIO during 2020 to 2021, and she headed the RMAA unit during her previous 11 years at the WSIB.
