Warburg Pincus, a U.S. fund manager, has named new leadership for its property division in Asia.
Ellen Ng has been promoted to co-head of Asia real estate. And Takashi Murata will serve as co-head of the property team. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, she worked at Merrill Lynch in the Investment Banking Division focusing on corporate finance transactions across Asia.
Previously, Ng was the company’s head of China real estate, while Murata was a head of real estate Asia at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He was with firm since 1998.
