Vita Group has plans to build a student-accommodation project at Nottingham’s Guildhall and adjacent site, according to several news sources.
Originally built in 1887, Guildhall previously housed Magistrates’ Court, along with the former fire and police stations in Nottingham, England.
The new accommodation would consist of 967 student rooms, as well as a gym, a dance studio, study spaces, games rooms, a cinema and a public food hall. The scheme is targeted for second- and third-year students in the city.
The build is expected to complement plans for a hotel on the Guildhall site.
