Urban Story Ventures plans $350m mixed-use district in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Urban Story Ventures is planning a $350 million retail and residential district within the Bend, a mixed-use development in Chattanooga, Tenn. Construction on the new district is expected to begin in 2027. The project is being developed in partnership with Hill Partners, a retail and mixed-use development firm, and Perkins&Will, an architecture and design firm.

The open-air district will showcase a blend of restaurants, retail, class A office, and residential uses, creating a walkable destination along Chattanooga’s riverfront. A collection of local, regional, and nationally recognized concepts — from retailers to home-goods brands, lifestyle and entertainment uses, and dining and cafe groups — are already in active negotiations.
