ULI has appointed Simon Durkin as CEO Europe, ULI, succeeding Lisette van Doorn in early March.
Durkin joins ULI from BlackRock senior leadership where he held the position of global head of real estate research and strategy. He has more than 20 years of experience across real estate, applied research and capital markets, including senior leadership and investment committee roles at BlackRock, BNP Paribas and DWS, as well as earlier roles in data and index development at IPD and PPR.
Van Doorn recently left ULI after more than a decade with the organization, during which time she held senior leadership roles in Europe, according to a ULI article.
