by Andrea Waitrovich

UBS Global Asset Management has a second UBS International Infrastructure Fund, UBS International Infrastructure Fund II, on the market. The vehicle has a $2 billion fundraising goal, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission dated April 29, 2013. A final close date was not disclosed. The fund is managed by UBS Global Asset Management's Infrastructure Asset Management team.

Its predecessor, UBS International Infrastructure Fund, held a $1.5 billion final close, exceeding its target, in 2008. The core fund’s assets would be invested for a minimum of 15 years in a variety of infrastructure assets, such as transportation, utilities, energy and social infrastructure.
