by RELEASED

UBS Asset Management has named JT Straub as U.S. real estate head of client solutions, succeeding Tom O’Shea, who will retire at the end of October after a 34-year career, including more than 22 years at UBS.

Straub is based in New York and will report to Jon Hollick, head of global real estate ex DACH at UBS Asset Management. He will work closely with O’Shea and Larissa Belova during the transition to support continuity across client relationships.

Straub brings more than 27 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining UBS, he held senior management roles at AEW, CBRE Investment Management and ING, with a focus on client and consultant relations, business growth and capital raising.

O’Shea most recently led UBS Asset Management’s U.S. real estate client solutions team.
