U.S. firm repositions Paris hotel for Thai investor

by Andrea Waitrovich

Invesco Real Estate plans to invest €30 million ($32 million) for the repositioning of the Terminus Nord Hotel in Paris. Invesco Real Estate acquired the hotel on behalf of Thailand-based Hua Kee in 2014.

Terminus Nord Hotel in Paris will be the 10th hotel rebranded by the lifestyle hotel brand 25hours. The hotel’s 236-room refurbishment will be launched in two phases, starting in spring 2017. In the first phase, 141 rooms of the Hotel Terminus Nord and large sections of common areas will open in summer 2018. The completion of the renovation, including the restaurant and bar, is planned for spring 2019.

Hua Kee is a Thai family office that owns and operates several hotel properties in Southeast Asia and Australia.
