Turner & Townsend, the global program management company, has appointed Michael O’Connor Atkin as director, sports and venues, Asia, strengthening its ability to support clients delivering complex, high-profile sports and entertainment developments across the region.
Atkin brings more than a decade of experience specializing in major venue projects, with a strong track record in helping clients turn ambitious ideas into projects that are clearly planned, commercially sound and successfully delivered. He joins the Asia business following an career in the United Kingdom, where he played a leading role in the delivery of large-scale arena developments.
Most recently, he led the commercial delivery of a flagship arena project in Cardiff, Wales, working at the center of a nationally significant scheme.
