Tristan Capital Partners closes European special opportunities fund at €2b

Tristan Capital Partners has raised €2 billion ($2.1 billion) of equity commitments for its latest value-add/opportunistic fund, European Property Investors Special Opportunities 6 (EPISO 6), concluding fundraising.

EPISO 6 was fully subscribed with more than 20 investors, including both existing and new clients. The investor base consisted predominantly of pension funds, family offices, foundations, insurance companies and sovereign funds. The majority — 55 percent — of EPISO 6’s investor base came from Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and 45 percent came from North and South America.

As Tristan’s 12th fund, EPISO 6 will invest in Western and Central European real estate markets across the high-grade office, logistics, living strategies, hospitality and life sciences sectors. Its predecessor, EPISO 5, had a final closing of €1.7 billion ($1.8 billion) in February 2019 and is fully committed with 30 investments across Europe.
