Tristan Capital Partners acquires five office buildings in Helsinki

by Kali Persall

Tristan Capital Partners has acquired five modern office buildings in Helsinki through its core-plus perpetual fund CP 5 LL, for an undisclosed amount.

Spektri, located in Otaniemi, the western business district of Helsinki, is a new business district consisting of five office assets, comprising 35,000 square meters (approximately 380,000 square feet) of net lettable area.

Refurbished in 2017, the buildings include restaurants, an auditorium, meeting rooms, a gym, co-working space, a yoga studio, beauty and medical facilities, and saunas.

"Spektri is an exciting investment opportunity that provides a strong, diversified cash flow from 110 companies and has a 90 percent occupancy,” said Anne-Jan Jager, director at Tristan Capital Partners. “With circa 2,000 professionals, Spektri is an established and important employment center in Helsinki and the development rights will provide the opportunity to expand the ongoing mixed-use transformation of the area.”
