The Townsend Group has raised $246.3 million for the Townsend Real Estate Alpha Fund II, according to an SEC filing.
The fund launched in December 2014, and an equity fundraising target was not disclosed.
Fund II follows the same global, opportunistic, multi-manager strategy as its predecessor, Townsend Real Estate Alpha Fund I, which closed in January 2014 with $357.5 million.
