Tishman Speyer Investment Management GmbH appoints Aysel Torocuoglu as managing director

Tishman Speyer Investment Management GmbH (TSIM) has appointed Aysel Torocuoglu as managing director. In her new role, she will be responsible for risk management and operations.

Torocuoglu started her career at Tishman Speyer Germany in October 2018 as director risk management and operations. Prior to that, she gained extensive experience in the regulated investment business at Savills Investment Management and Schroder Property Kapitalgesellschaft.

Since TSIM’s foundation as a capital management company in 2018, the firm has invested around €640 million ($709 million) in central locations on behalf of institutional mandates. It is planning further expansion in Germany and the most important European markets.

TSIM’s transactions last year included the purchase of the residential tower project Am Schweizergarten in Vienna and the purchase of the Haus am Bundesrat office building in Berlin.
