Thor Equities Group has purchased an 82-acre parcel in Adairsville, Ga. The financial terms and seller were not disclosed.
Situated on U.S. Highway 41 South, Thor plans to develop more than of 1.04 million square feet of state-of-the-art industrial property.
Located 60 miles from the center of Atlanta in the Interstate 75 North submarket, the Adairsville site enables operators to access the ninth largest city in the United States in one hour. The property is near I-75 and the new inland port located in Chatsworth, Ga., allowing future tenants to receive goods directly from the Port of Savannah. Thor’s construction plan includes top-of-the-market class-A specifications, including 40 feet of clearance height, an 8-foot slab, up to 306 trailer spaces and 577 auto spaces, along with a modern design.
