BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Thierry Bougeard as head of logistics and industrial.
Bougeard, who is taking over from Anita Simaza, will report to Larry Young, head of BNP Paribas Real Estate’s International Investment Group.
Based in Barcelona, he will head up the European coordination of the logistics business (investment and rentals/sales), alongside the local teams of BNP Paribas Real Estate.
This pan-European team, managed by Bougeard, will continue to develop schemes with investor clients based in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America, as well as assisting the firm’s occupier clients in their European expansion.
Bougeard has extensive experience in logistics. He began his career in 1990 as a consultant before becoming head of the industrial and logistics department of Auguste Thouard in Paris (which later became BNP Paribas Real Estate).
