The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) has placed $50 million into a recent Faropoint Ventures vehicle, Industrial Sale-Leaseback (SLB) Fund. This commitment was made on Oct. 31, according to an investment notice emailed by TRS spokesperson Rob Maxwell.
The Industrial Sale-Leaseback Fund is a closed-end, value-added fund focused on industrial properties in the United States, specifically functional infill industrial properties. Opened on Aug. 1, this vehicle has a maximum size of $300 million.
