The Teacher Retirement System (TRS) of Texas has committed $50 million to Almanac Investment Manager Solutions (A), an opportunistic real estate strategy managed by NB Alternatives Advisers.
NB Alternatives Advisers is a financial investment advisory firm based in Dallas. The firm is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Neuberger Berman Group. Almanac Investment Manager Solutions launched in April with an unknown fundraising target, according to a filing with the SEC.
The pension fund had an existing relationship with this manager, according to a recent investment report from Texas TRS.
