The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) has committed $20 million to Inceptiv Second Empire.
This fund, a vehicle of Inceptiv Management, is a closed-end, opportunistic strategy that targets diversified real estate assets in the United States. A fundraising target has not been determined.
As of March 31, Texas TRS, a public pension fund, had $235.2 billion in total assets under management, with a 15 percent real estate allocation target and $30.6 billion in total real estate assets.
