The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) has committed $200 million to PCCP Equity Fund X, an investment program of PCCP.
PCCP Equity Fund X is a closed-end, opportunistic fund that targets office, industrial, multifamily and retail properties in top U.S. markets. A fundraising goal has not been determined. Its predecessor, PCCP Equity IX, raised $435 million in total equity.
Texas TRS is a public pension fund with $207.3 billion in total assets under management, as of Dec. 31, 2024. As of then, it had a 15 percent real estate allocation target, with $29.8 billion in total real estate assets.
