The Teacher Retirement System of Texas has committed $75 million to Inceptiv RED 2, an opportunistic real estate fund managed by Inceptiv Management that is focused on making investments within the United States.
Inceptiv Management provides flexible, specialty capital to fund managers and independent sponsors in private equity and real estate and to investors with atypical exposure to GP economics.
As of Aug. 31, 2023, TRS of Texas had 16.15 percent ($30.1 billion) of its $186.6 billion portfolio allocated toward real estate.
